The WENIRUDA Family, for the purpose of our mission, forms a small economy that we will continually improve through various programs. We will monitor the economic indicators within the Family to assess the success or failure of WENIRUDA in accomplishing its mission. Our bottom line objective measure of economic development within the Family is the HDI human development index (HDI) a measure utilized by United Nations Development Program (UNDP). The HDI combines income of per member, the education level and their life expectancy (an indication of health) within the family.
The WENIRUDA Family will grow organically from inside out. The large circle represents the WENIRUDA Family, the scale of our programs and other growth parameters. At its centre lies the collective vision, and the values, mission and leadership needed to realize that vision.
Our family consists of two member categories:
a. Individual people who wish to benefit from WENIRUDA's programs and network with the rest of the family. Examples of these members are students, teachers or destitute people in need of charitable help. We currently have a database of more than 1000 individuals who have been involved with WENIRUDA.
b. Businesses, both for profit and nonprofit, that wish to be connected to opportunities within West Nile, Uganda and the rest of the world. We are currently mentoring and providing microfinance for 4 businesses.
